Our Mission
South Asia Mission Project exists to make Jesus known
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16.
“I am the way the truth and the life and no one comes to the Father but by me.” John 14:6.
South Asia Mission Project, Inc. was established as a 501-c3 nonprofit organization in 2011. South Asia Mission Project exists to make Jesus known to one of the largest regions of the world who have never heard the greatest message ever told.
Based on the last command spoken by Jesus to his faithful followers, “. . . Jesus came to them and said, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.’” Matthew 28:18-20.
Our response is to Jesus’ command we:
– Go
– Make disciples (in South Asia)
– Teach them to obey all that Jesus commanded.
– Send them out to bear new fruit by sharing their story and His story.
– The cycle continues as they are now making disciples.
It has been very exciting to be part of what Jesus is doing.
We are simply instruments in the hands of a mighty God.
35 Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. 38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
